Contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) is an injection of contrast agent into a shallow vein followed by an injection of normal saline. The site of the lesion and the severity of the lesion are determined by B ultrasound or MRI. If the gastrointestinal imaging is performed, oral contrast media should be used. Be careful to avoid swallowing too much air when taking the contrast media.
